**About the Role**

As the Residential Area Manager for NSW, you will be responsible for all things operations and management Our 3 NSW facilities under your supervision, are located in the picturesque rural towns of Gunnedah and Inverell, which you will visit on a regular basis. Our 2 Gunnedah facilities comprise of Apex Road, being a 79-bed facility and Alkira housing 41 beds respectively. McLean Care’s founding and largest facility is Killean, located in Inverell which has a 138-bed capacity. Utilising your clinical leadership skills, your top priority will be ensuring ongoing quality care is delivered to all of our residents, at all times. Your success will be measured on our facilities delivering only the best, high quality care to the Aged Care Standards. As the Residential Area Manager, you will integrate your clinical expertise and extensive understanding of sector standards with empowering your Facility Managers to achieve excellence in their day-to-day operations. You know what it takes to run a well-oiled machine and are not afraid to step in and lead your team to success Reporting directly to the Director Residential Services, you will be well supported by your team of 4 direct reports. To be successful in this role, you will have:
**Essential**
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- 3 years of Aged Care management experience
- Proven clinical leadership skills and ability to identify and rectify compliance gaps
- Strong working knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and a proven track record of continued compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Budget preparation and management
- Strategic thinker
- A collaborative leadership style with that delivers high performing teams
- Current unrestricted Driver’s Licence and preparedness to travel as required

**Desirable**
- Qualifications in Operations or General Business Management
- Post Graduate studies in a field associated with Aged Care e.g. Gerontology, Palliative Care etc.
