About Us

Bankstown Sports Club is a leading and innovative registered club and a proud supporter of the local sporting, general and wider community. As one of Sydney’s top five registered clubs, it boasts a membership of 150,000, employing over 520 staff. Members and guests are drawn to our club, enjoying state-of-the-art amenities with a variety of beverage, dining and entertainment offerings all delivered with exceptional service.

Bankstown Sports is a one-stop destination for all. Our venues include the Lady Banks Rooftop Bar and the Basement Brewhouse, along with diverse food offerings across Italian, Asian, and middle eastern cuisines, just to name a few. The Group operates six clubs as well as a state of the art 600 seat theatre, a large Grand Ballroom and an extensive range of facilities to host events of all kinds along with a commercial office tower.

About the Role

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Demonstrating our Culture Values - Strong Team Player, Willingness to Surprise and Delight our guests and a 'Can-Do' Attitude.
- Greeting all customers and projecting a positive, motivated and friendly image to guests and staff
- Assisting with all customer enquiries, or requests regarding products and services
- Providing efficient and accurate service of food & beverage items to customers in bar areas and/or functions
- Restaurant duties; including table preparation, food & beverage service and cleaning duties
- Suggestive selling of menu items
- Bar service, where required
- Building and maintaining positive customer relationships, across a broad range of diverse cultures
- Cash handling

About You

We are looking for bubbly, energetic and lively front of house staff with the following:
Knowledge of responsible service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to create and maintain relationships
- Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Flexibility to work when required: weekday’s and weekend’s
- Previous or current experience in restaurant service
- A dependable and enthusiastic attitude
- Immaculate personal presentation
- Must have RSA and RCG qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Rights to work in Australia

**Waitstaff applicants**:

- Ability to carry 3 plates
- Previous experience working in an a la carte restaurant environment will be highly regarded

**Bartender applicants**:

- Cocktail making experience will be highly regarded
