**About the Role**
As the Development and Maintenance Coordinator, your role encompasses day to day management of facility maintenance and supporting capital development throughout the Sport Precinct and works closely with the Facilities Operations Manager. The facility portfolio includes the Nona Lee Sports Centre, Beaurepaire Centre, University Oval and surrounding grounds, Lincoln Square Fitness, Boat House, Mt BullerAlpine Lodge and other sport related facilities. You will supervise contractors, ensure contract compliance, and are responsible for tracking and reporting on maintenance requests within MU Sport. You are encouraged to provide ideas and input to develop the sports precincts and will be involved in developing the broader capital infrastructure plan.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Undertake project management of operational objectives and small capital projects, under general direction from the Facility Operations Manager
- Seek quotes, raise payment requests and monitor agreed budget expenditure on facilities and maintenance
- Respond to customer feedback regarding maintenance and facilities, and where possible resolve patron’s issues
- Manage casual staff where required

**Who we are looking for**
To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised with an eye for detail and have relevant industry experience and qualifications. A high level of computer literacy and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential along with an ability to build effective relationships with a diverse mix of internal and external stakeholders and work effectively as part of a team.

You will also have:

- An appropriate tertiary or industry qualification along with relevant practical experience in common facility and project management issues
- Ability to plan and implement programmed facility maintenance and to prioritise nonplanned maintenance and repairs
- Demonstrated budget and project administration experience
