**About the role**:
Reporting to the Senior Outage Management Specialist, you will coordinate requests for access to Powerlink’s electricity transmission network. You will deliver a consolidated schedule of reservations, bounded by impacts to connected customers and the National Electricity Market (NEM).

Working as part of a supportive and customer centric team, you will:

- Proactively develop and maintain constructive working relationships with key stakeholders;
- Champion the Outage Management Process and provide troubleshooting support;
- Create customer requests in iTOA;
- Liaise with customers to secure intended programs of work that have the potential to impact the transmission network capability.
- Share with connected transmission customers, Powerlink’s intended programs of transmission work (reservations) in order to meet compliance reporting obligations contained within Connection and Access Agreements (CAA).
- Chair outage coordination forums with Maintenance Service Providers (MSPs) as necessary.

**About you**:
In additional to having tertiary qualifications in Electrical Trades or Electrical Engineering, you will have experience working with the operation and maintenance of electrical power transmission or distributions systems and the below;
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence outcomes utilising operational and technical knowledge.
- Demonstrated knowledge of power system operations, able to describe power system behaviour, physical transmission elements and the characteristics of the individual elements;
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical and organisational information in order to make informed decisions and/or provide informed advice;
- Basic understanding of the NEM with the ability to conceptualise potential NEM outcomes as consequence of transmission influence;
- Knowledge of electrical safety policy, procedures and legislation.
