About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Youth Street Teams Coordinator You will coordinate delivery of the Youth Street Teams program. Additionally, you will provide clear leadership and supervision of Youth Street Teams volunteers.

Responsibilities include
- Facilitate delivery of a minimum of 3 Youth Street Teams every Friday and Saturday night
- Briefing and debriefing of volunteers, as well as regular contact with volunteers throughout the night
- Attendance at Safe Night briefings at local Police Stations
- Collection of data and analysis of trends seen by Youth Street Teams program
- Engagement, support and participation in administrative and program functions at Melbourne Project 614

This is a fixed-term part-time position, 15.2 hours per week contracted until June 2025, based in Melbourne Project 614, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 4 Award.

What you will have
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work and/or related disciplines _(desired)_
- A minimum of 3 years experience within Community Services (housing and homelessness) _(desired)_
- Understanding of, and commitment to, the mission and values of The Salvation Army
- A current Driver's Licence
