**The Role**

We are seeking a passionate and organised Maintenance Officer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operations and upkeep of our South Australia locations.

**The key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following**:

- Conduct regular inspections of gym locations to identify and address repair and maintenance issues, including collaborating with external contractors and service providers when necessary.
- Ensuring all logged and requested maintenance jobs are followed up and completed in a timely manner
- Documenting and maintaining maintenance records and hazard identification, reporting any incidents or near misses through WHS processes.
- Promoting, executing and adhering to the company’s safety program, encouraging all employees, sub-contractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in managing and coordinating with external contractors
- Natural interpersonal skills, with the ability to build working relationships and rapport with club managers and other staff.
- Possess strong organisational and prioritisation skills - being comfortable working autonomously.
- The ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, physically demanding role.

**To be eligible for this position you must have**:

- Previous professional experience in maintenance
- Trade qualification in fitting/mechanical background (desirable)
- Ability to perform manual tasks, including; heavy lifting, climbing stairs and completing tasks at ground and overhead level
- Current First Aid, CPR, and valid Police Check (or willing to obtain).
