Commencing immediately for initial 18 month duration (opp for further 12month extension). Across various states, these roles offer flexible working arrangements (WFH 50/50 per fortnight).

**Senior Compliance / Investigations Officer (APS6)**
Lead compliance approaches and investigations into disability service providers and support workers, ensuring the safety, well-being, and quality of support services for people with disabilities. Your work will be conducted in alignment with the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 and relevant legislative requirements. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead compliance approaches and investigations inquiries into disability service providers and support workers.
- Conduct compliance monitoring and investigative activities to prevent and mitigate fraud against the NDIS.
- Liaise with government agencies and taskforce partners, sharing information and producing briefing papers.
- Implement and monitor the impact of regulatory actions, including large-scale disruption activities.
- Engage across the Commission’s functions, fostering cross-functional strategies to address compliance issues.
- Assist providers and workers in understanding obligations and guide them in addressing non-compliance issues.
- Undertake research and analysis to develop risk-based and proportionate compliance and investigations responses.
- Prepare complex correspondence, reports, briefings, and submissions.

**Senior Project Officers (APS6)**

Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute to regulatory compliance activities in accordance with the relevant Act and legislation.
- Conduct research and analysis to contribute insights and solve systemic regulatory challenges.
- Support the design and implementation of regulatory campaigns to educate NDIS providers, workers, and participants.
- Utilize planning methodologies to implement and report against multiple compliance campaigns and projects.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake regulatory compliance actions in response to identified non-compliance and emerging risks.
- Prepare high-quality project reports, briefing papers, and executive correspondence.

**Compliance/Investigations Officers (APS5)**

**Essential Requirements**:

- Must be an Australian citizen and hold a National Police Check (dated within the last 6 months);
- Willing and able to pass a Baseline Security Clearance;
- Strong research and analytical skills (APS6-level);
- Substantial experience in a similar role requiring the preparation of complex briefings, reports and submissions (APS6-level);
- Demonstrated experience in both proactive and reactive regulatory activities;
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a customer service service focus and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of key stakeholders;
- Committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in regulatory compliance activities.
