**The Role**:
As a Manager, Workforce Planning and Demand Management, Delivery Support Services, you will:

- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with QPS values as outlined above.
- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Manage a program and project demand management and workforce planning service within the Delivery Services Branch, eHealth Queensland.
- Lead, design and develop a 1-, 2- and 3-year workforce plan by job family for each business unit within the Delivery Services Branch.
- Capture the people resource requirements by skill type and number of employees by skill set at a delivery portfolio, program and project layer to forecast future people resource needs and demand management within Delivery Services Branch, eHealth Queensland.
- Provide a delivery portfolio-view of commitments from a program, project and business-as-usual perspective to assess ability to deliver against operational, tactical and strategic workforce plans.
- Maintain, continually improve and implement the portfolio, program and project resource management (workforce planning) framework and supporting processes.
- Manage toolsets to understand supply and demand requirements for program and project people resources that includes a flexible project portfolio resource pool of specialists based on available capacity levels.
- Manage and continuously improve the forecasting of people resources required for a program and project at different phases and stages and help identify the people resources by job family to support successful delivery.
- Utilise technology and analytical tools to develop, analyse and report on enterprise-wide people and other cross-functional data as needed.

The ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

- Proven ability to establish and manage the provision of tactical, operational and strategic workforce planning and demand management service to support the timely provision of people resources to a number of large-scale, complex information communication and technology (ICT) programs and projects.
- Proven ability in providing expert advice on, and direction in communicating insights into patterns of people resource and skillset demand.
- Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support effective program and project delivery, including the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Proven negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment.

Qualifications and professional certifications in one or more of the following fields are considered highly desirable:
Human resource management, strategic workforce planning, statistical or similar qualification
Program and project management particularly Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) and Managing Successful Projects (PRINCE2®).
