**About The Role**
The primary purpose of the role is to manage and execute ELK's presence on all social media sites and related platforms. Working closely with our Marketing and on-line team, the Social Media Assistant is central to supporting a range of strategic, scheduled and ad hoc marketing and brand awareness initiatives spread across the channel encompassing online, social, retail and wholesale.

**A 'day in the life' entails however is not limited to;**
- Daily activation of on-brand and tailored communication for marketing activities and campaigns via digital and traditional channels.
- Coordinating and taking lead on essential requirements for social, e-commerce and PR initiatives.
- Execute end to end prep and planning for promotions, media events, call outs, competitions, campaigns and the like.
- Maintain collaborative and supportive working relationships with ELK Sales/Wholesale/Planning/Online and Retail teams and attending to and 'anticipating' requests for support.
- Working collaboratively and creatively with Graphic Design and Marketing/Content leaders.
- Staying at the forefront of industry changes and actively making commercially sound recommendations for process improvement.
- Increasing engagement, online traffic through the delivery of brand enhancing content that maximises sales and brand equity.

**Our 'must haves'**
- Two to four years’ experience in a marketing, communications or an advertising role (preferable in fashion). Beauty/health/lifestyle also well regarded.
- A Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Media, Communications or similar.
- Demonstrated copywriting skills with a natural flare for creative expression and an innate understanding of brand identity, tone and tailoring content.
- Impeccable time management with the ability to work calmly, quickly and efficiently whilst handling multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Takes initiative and has an outgoing and sociable personality.
- High level of attention to detail and work integrity.
- Technically savvy with a burning desire to 'keep learning' and becoming your best self.
- Commitment to being an authentic brand ambassador and advocate for our Ethics & Sustainability journey.
