**The role**: We are currently looking for a Retention Specialist on a permanent full time basis reporting to the Retention Team Leader. This role is essential in enhancing customer satisfaction by identifying retention opportunities, delivering outstanding service, and building strong client relationships. The role involves providing competitive finance and insurance quotes, exceeding performance targets, and compiling insightful reports to drive strategic decisions.

**What you'll do**:

- Capture and engage all maturing contracts from VWFS portfolio
- Meet and exceed customer retention monthly targets and objectives
- Follow up and 'sell' the refinance message to our customers
- Actively refer genuine leads to our VWFS Network and ensure accountability for positive outcomes
- Actively assist with payouts from customers and sell value of VWFS
- Maintain documentation to ensure it is accurate, complete and compliant with all VWFS policies and procedures and NCC obligations
- Provide high level of customer service, whilst actively promoting, quoting and selling VWFS branded insurance
- In consultation with team members, develop and review procedures to enhance service delivery.

**What you will bring**:

- Relevant qualifications in financial services, business, sales, customer service or related discipline.
- 2+ years' experience in the provision of sales and/ or customer service preferably in telephone sales or a call centre environment.
- Minimum Higher School Certificate education preferable.
- Automotive Finance experience is preferable.
- Ability to deliver customer focused solutions in an impactful way coupled with experience of managing customer demands and expectations.
- Application of negotiation skills and tools both individually and within a team.
- Intermediate level of proficiency required with Microsoft suite of products especially excel.
- An ability to develop and sustain positive & cooperative working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to work within a fast paced team environment.
