Exciting trade marketing coordinator contract supporting a wholesale client locally and nationally

Working for this large global company, you will be working in their retail division supporting a key wholesaler with all of their marketing activity across local, regional and national markets and event activation. This is a unique role combining account management, project management and marketing management. This is a 12-month contract, with an ideal start at the end of November, with an opportunity to go permanent after the first year.

**Your new role**

This is a multi-faceted role. Engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for supporting a sales team with marketing that drives ROI and product sales in local and regional markets. Specific responsibilities include:

- Support and execute national promotions and activities, ideation, development and deployment
- Marketing support and asset creation as required - mainly traditional channels but also growth opportunity in digital
- Event coordination both national and locally
- External vendor and agency engagement and management as required

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you need to be confident engaging with stakeholders of all levels. It would be beneficial if you've worked in a marketing role specifically supporting a sales team or sales professionals before and if you have had expsoure to retail marketing. It is important that you are happy to plan and execute. Other qualities:

- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- The ability to understand customer segmentation and tailor marketing strategies to suit different audiences
- Very resourceful, happy to think on your feet and work autonomously (as you won't be supported by a wider marketing team)
