- We are seeking a highly experienced, influential, and _motivated person who is seeking a rewarding and challenging role to come and lead our Assessments Section._

**Primary purpose of the position**

To manage and lead the Assessments Section in the delivery of its services as a ‘first contact point’ for the community and NSW public authorities to report suspected corrupt conduct.

Provide advice to internal and external Commission stakeholders about corruption risks, reporting processes, and methods of identifying and addressing corruption within their organisations

**Eligibility**
- an Australian citizen; or
- a permanent Australian resident.

- Proven high level organisational and operational planning skills.
- Experience in team leadership including planning, motivating and developing team members.
- High level verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders and to resolve conflict.
- Demonstrated skills in written analysis to assess, review and document complaints and recommendations.
- Experience in collecting and weighing up information and evidence in a contemporary investigative context and an understanding of legal process.
- Knowledge of Public Interest Disclosures.
- Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures and standards.
- Knowledge of the Commission, the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988, the Public Interest Disclosures Act 1994, and the NSW public sector.
- Demonstrated knowledge of identifying and addressing the risks and challenges in a complaint-handling environment.
- Proficiency in word processing, data-recording and related computer skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, including the Certificate IV in Government Investigations, are desirable but not essential.

**Remuneration**

Total remuneration package valued up to $196,644 pa (Salary $158,642 - $175,604 pa), incorporating employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
