**Salary**:$**106,025 - $117,363 plus super and leave loading (Clerk Grade 7/8)

**Your role**

An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Coordinator to join the Extended Supervision order (ESO) and Terrorism High Risk Offenders Unit (THROU) Community Corrections teams within the Intensive Rehabilitation District. The Project Coordinator Co-Existing Disorders provides advice and support to Community Corrections Officers in the Case Management of Offenders with co-existing disorders and liaises with external stakeholders, both government and non-government, to establish and maintain inter agency case management strategies for this group of high-risk, high-consequence offenders. The role will also research, develop and implement strategies to improve the management and supervision of offenders with co-existing disorders supervised in the community on post-sentence supervision orders.

**What we’re looking for**
- Strong communication skills, possess the ability to effectively build and foster sound relationships.
- Highly motivated, with a keen eye for detail, and able to complete multiple competing tasks within deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a Community Corrections environment and provide supportive case management with co-existing disorder offenders.
- Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System
- Knowledge of the referral processes within the Disability, Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drug environment
- Leader and mentor, accountable for your decisions and passionate about continuous improvement, driving development and ensuring compliance with policy and procedures.
- Self-Motivated and work collaboratively to achieve the outlined goals and objective with all relevant stakeholders.
- Tenacious, persistent, and positive during times of change and pressure.
- Resilience, balancing the conflicting and equally important demands of offenders, the courts and the community in a politically sensitive environment.

**Essential Requirements**
- Current driver’s licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing the role.
