Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project Management Office with the planning and fit-out of small format structures.

The team of Project Coordinators, are responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating project documentation, monitoring project progress and co-ordinating communications to the wider project team. This position will play a key role in assessing proposed sites for safety, and functionality and certifying that they meet the correct site requirements for business needs and for building certification - working with architects and external consultants.

A key element of this role is stakeholder management, including, liaising with vendors, contractors, local councils, consultants, and internal stakeholders within the Operations department. The Project Coordinators will also assist the Project Manager by providing on the ground support with the progression of projects and mobilisation of installations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create project reports and completing relevant documents for installation process
- Work with the Project Manager and Property Agents to ensure all site proposals and site packs are circulated and reviewed in a timely manner, whilst providing feedback to the wider project installation team
- Conduct additional site visits when required
- Collation of all project documentation including safety documents such as SWMS, insurances, site work documentation, inductions etc
- Effective site documentation handover to the business from PMO for launch of the sites
- Assisting with requirements to obtain Town Planning approvals and building permits & certification
- Contractor Management - obtaining all documentation required by the business and stakeholders for engagement with contractors
- Coordination of project updates to wider project team
- Provide a framework for team members to follow to deliver the project on time and within budget
- Assist the Project Team in solving technical and non-technical problems throughout the life of the project

**Skills required**:

- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and MS Project
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering or similar discipline
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction or property development industries
- A valid Australian driver’s license & access to a vehicle
- High-level verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- Attention to detail to monitor and control project variables
- Knowledge on how to effectively manage design and town planning processes
