**About us**

The **Avenues Group** currently operates 16 high quality Early Learning Centres across Brisbane providing education and care for over 1500 children each day.

**The role**

**Avenes Early Learning Centre - Paddington** is seeking a highly skilled and pro-active Administration Assistant to join our team of passionate Educators on a permanent part-time basis. Working 7.5 hours per day, **5 days per week**.

You will be:

- First point of contact with all families
- The face of the centre
- Working alongside the Centre Manager, assisting with administration duties
- Conducting tours of the centre
- Processing enrolments and admin duties

**Essential requirements**
- Minimum of a Diploma in Children's Services
- Microsoft office experience, specifically Excel and Word
- Previous Leadership role within Early Childhood Education and Care (preferred)
- Friendly, professional manner with ability to focus in a busy, noisy environment
- 2 or more years of administrative experience (preferred, not essential)
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Kidsoft will be highly regarded
- Strength to uphold and enforce polices and procedures
- A passionate, and driven individual
- Trustworthy, dedicated and positive team player
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Senior first-aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management certifications (or willingness to obtain)

**Responsibilities for this role**:

- Supporting the ongoing needs of Families, Children and Staff
- Processing enrolments, bookings and attendance using Kidsoft software
