“The Terraces” residential care home was completed in 2019 and is located in the highly sought-after suburb of Paddington in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. A stunning, interior-designed, purpose-built facility, it’s perfectly located less than 500 metres to St. Vincent’s Hospital, close to Rushcutters Bay and within 5 minutes’ walking distance to shops, cafés and galleries.

Designed to accommodate “Ageing in place” the facility provides respite, residential, dementia and palliative care.

About the role

People are the heart of everything we do. We are seeking an experienced Consumer Experience Liaison to be the key point of contact for enquiries and services within the Paddington Residential facility, from enquiry and admission through to ongoing consumer experience.

About You
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a customer service role
- High level administration skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication and people skills
- Empathy with the elderly and their families
- Financial Acumen
- Problem Solving skills
- Proven performance as a team player
- Commitment to work within the PAC Mission and Values
- Ability to be innovative and flexible in seeking client centred outcomes
- Intermediate to Advanced Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

What's involved in the role?
- Ensure the resident experience is positive and residents feel well supported

Receive and respond to all enquiries in a timely manner and gather and record details for each enquiry
Arrange and personally conduct tours of potential clients showcasing The Terraces Paddington utilising the opportunity to build relationships
Be accessible to clients and their family and friends as a representative for The Terraces Paddington
Oversee the additional services program, ensuring all services are made available to residents and that necessary processes are followed, auditing the program, and supporting the lifestyle team to ensure continuous improvement
Guide residents and their family and friends through the Aged Care journey
Attend to Families and friends for all non-clinical complaints
Assist government supported No Next of Kin residents with move in and settling in
Participate in tribunal hearings with the residents
Liaise with Public Trustee for all resident financial matters
