**About the role**
The Intelligence Support Officer in the Disseminations and Request for Information (DRFI) team assists in the timely and lawful external dissemination of both ACIC intelligence products and Request for Information (RFI) responses.

This position is ideal for people interested in the intelligence profession and looking to get started. It will give you a broad overview of everything the ACIC produces and will connect you with people across the agency.

DRFI provides a flexible and inclusive work environment, with lots of scope for professional development.

Key responsibilities:

- Helping ensure that ACIC intelligence products disclosed externally meet corporate quality standards and all appropriate approvals have been obtained.
- Registering and managing responses for requests for intelligence-related information (RFI).
- Maintaining a register of intelligence products received for external partner agencies and the internal dissemination and corporate filing of such reports.
- Engaging with customers and stakeholders through phone, written communication and in person interactions.
- Ensuring precision in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) and streamlining administrative processes.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following experience, skills and attributes:

- Performs quality assurance and dissemination functions to ensure the high quality and compliance of ACIC tactical, operational and strategic intelligence products released that inform and impact decision making for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintains and works to improve corporate report and disclosure templates to make user experience easier and contribute to an expedited and better final product.
- Supports inter-disciplinary and inter-agency liaison to maintain productive networks and to promote information sharing, partnerships and common understanding.
- Contributes to a collegiate approach within the team that promotes a culture of flexibility and improvement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment.

**Eligibility**
- **Citizenship** - To be eligible for employment with the ACIC, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
- **Security Clearance** - The Australian community expects ACIC employees to maintain the highest levels of security and integrity. Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
- **Vaccination Status** - To be eligible to work at the ACIC, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
