About the role

You will successfully
- Ensure consistency with TSA policy, procedures, systems, and processes and has a focus on volunteer resourcing and finance and business administration
- Assist with the onboarding arrangements for new employees
- With direction from the Corps Officer on their program needs, contribute to the planning of volunteer roles and teams
- Utilise state volunteer networks and platforms as avenues for recruitment and engagement opportunities
- Assist with procurement orders (purchasing, fleet vehicles, IT, phones)
- Assist with the creation of content for social media posts - specifically information promoting community events, appeals, volunteer involvement, and church events/special occasions
- Investigate and resolve ongoing IT/ Payroll and Finance matters
- Support Corps Officers in reviewing and understanding the monthly operating statements
- Support Corps Officers with MOUs, council permits and compliance requirements with community events
- Provide systems coaching and support to Corps Officers/Employees/Volunteers to ensure corps-based procedures are consistent with best practice and TSA policy/procedure
- Assist in the identification and training of local personnel to fulfill these duties going forward

We currently have full and part time (minimum of 3 days per week) positions available to December 2024 (possible short-term extension may be available beyond this date). Secondment opportunities will be considered.

You will have
- Generalist administration experience with intermediate computer skills across a range of software
- Experience in/desire to learn Workday
- Data entry & electronic record keeping expertise
- 1-2 years in customer service essential and has a professional and friendly demeanor
- The ability to work independently from remote sites
- A current VIC Drivers Licence
- Valid VIC Employee Working with Children Check
- Ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
