**Formula for Success**

As Business Controller, you’ll support the BASF Performance Chemicals business in achieving it’s strategic objectives through robust and timely financial performance analysis, review and reporting. You’ll act as an internal consultant, responsible for financial controlling, process improvement and delivery of product to customers in a timely manner.

You’ll:

- Liaise with local management to ensure internal controls are implemented, maintained and improved.
- Analyse and monitor sales, fixed costs and profit against Operational Plan & recommend corrective actions.
- Implement process improvement & business initiatives.
- Prepare reports & analysis for the purpose of supporting working capital management.
- Support preparation of BASF ANZ Operational Plan.

**Ingredients for Success**

To be successful in this role, you’ll have a strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets from multiple sources. You’ll be a natural communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders of various levels, providing meaningful insights and recommendations.

You’ll:

- Hold a degree in Accounting/Finance or hold a CA/CPA Membership (or be studying towards).
- Be highly diligent with excellent attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles and standards.
- Expert level MS Excel Skills, with SAP experience a plus.
