Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) is responsible for managing the Group’s relationships with major corporate and government clients and institutional investors, and provides a full range of capital raising, transactional and risk management products and services. The division also performs an important internal role for the Group by providing equities, markets, lending and transaction banking execution capabilities to other CBA business units that allows them to capture opportunities with business customers.

The Markets division is responsible for the Trading and Sales activities in financial markets encompassing all Foreign Exchange, Commodities, Fixed Income and Interest Rate products.

Your team is QDAT Core is responsible for delivering a robust and sustainable technology foundation across data and use of infrastructure, whilst driving better cost transparency and operational excellence for IB&M and the Group.

- Designs and implements Safe and Secure solutions to meet Business needs
- Collaborates with business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritization of change is understood and agreed to.
- Identifies, articulates and manages risks within the technology platform.
- Accountable for ensuring work delivered meets desired business outcome.
- Has a continuous growth mindset.
- Focus on Driving automation and reporting and SDLC best practices

**We are interested in hearing from people who have**
- A good Computer Science background
- Proficiency in Python
- Professional experience with Linux
- Experience in Cloud/elastic computing environments would be beneficial
- A suitable tertiary degree and preferably post graduate studies in a Computer Science or Engineering discipline
