Our client is a national Australian hospitality business that create special experiences and memories for singles, families, couples, young travellers and business executives alike. They are well placed to double in revenue, grow their national footprint and will look to diversify further and offer additional complimentary services. To support these exciting future growth plans, they seek to hire a business savvy, General Manager to work closely with the COO and Leadership Team and build on an already growing business and lead the Regional team to achieve key strategic milestones.
The first 90 days will require you to review existing processes and the performance of each property, before developing improvements and strategic plans for each. This will require spending time with each business to understand their uniqueness, key drivers, and future requirements so you can design suitable frameworks, practices and processes.
This role is hands-on with day to day operational involvement and leadership, overseeing a small team in each location and managing the talent lifecycle through recruitment, retention and financial oversight for each property, assisting with due diligence and market information on potential growth targets.
Success requires a hands-on approach and demonstrated expertise in both managing and enhancing ideally accommodation or hospitality related business with diverse operational drivers.
