Client Side - Design role for an Architect for a major Sydney University
- Works on Retail Tenancy and other University campus projects
- Onsite role near Sydney CBD

This Australian-owned Development, Project Management, and Design Consultancy requires an Architect/ Project Architect to provide services in-house for a Major Sydney University near Sydney CBD. The role will be embedded in the University's Project Management and Design Team and will support Capital Works and Development projects across the campus with a particular emphasis on retail projects including new retail tenancies, food courts, and medical centers. This is an on-site role with some flexibility to work from home.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the development and project management team to define project objectives and deliver design solutions
- Develop Retail Tenancy plans and FF&E plans
- Review Retail Tenancy Plans from retailers to ensure retail fit-outs and in line with the University's design standards
- Develop conceptual designs on allocated projects for medical centres etc
- Work alongside other in-house and external Architects on projects from the conceptual stage through to detailed documentation
- Utilise Revit skills to create detailed and accurate design documentation

**Qualifications**
- Architecture and Architectural Design skills
- Proven experience as an Architect/ Project Architect
- Experience working on University and /or Retail projects in Australia which could include retail tenancies, shopping center/ food court style projects, or medical center center fit-outs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with the Project Management and Development team
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field

This is an opportunity to work on-site in-house for a major University near Sydney CBD. The role is forecast to last 2 years + due to a significant pipeline of new projects both Capital works and new Developments.
