Mission Australia Housing provides social and affordable housing to vulnerable Australians ensuring they have access to good-quality housing that enables people to participate in their communities.

**Your Opportunity**

Join our past paced and dynamic team to support some of the more vulnerable people in our community to maintain their housing and thrive in their communities. This is a customer facing role requiring strong resilience and commitment to continuous improvement. You will ideally have had previous experience in the property management, community housing industries or community services sector.

**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Conducting all the arrangements to lease vacant properties quickly and effectively
- Work with tenants to assist and support them in maintaining their tenancies
- Carry out property inspections and complete the required property reports
- Prepare court/tribunal documents where necessary
- Ensure tenancy and property records are kept up to date and information recorded meets the organisations and Regulatory standards
- Maintain a strong KPI focus across a variety of performance areas
- Maintain positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Actively contribute to developing and implementing strategies that connect tenants to additional support

**Requirements for Success**
- Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable client groups with strong people skills
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act would be preferred
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office products for reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current Drivers’ Licence and valid WWCC
- As part of our Employment screening process you will also be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check and will need a Working with Children Check.
