We are looking for a **Head of Product (Dev) & Merchandising** superstar to join our team

This position will be responsible for managing our merchandise plan, from development to landed goods. You will assist in maximising sales and margin, increasing stock turnover, and minimising stock holding, including dead stock.

With an analytical mind, you will play a crucial role in shaping how ExoticAthletica creates innovative, progressive, and fashionable apparel. You must have a keen eye for product, styles, and trends, be operationally focused, have a great understanding of merchandising, supply chain, replenishment planning, and logistics as well as e-commerce, product photoshoots, styling, quality control, and returns processes.

You will be responsible for managing the team and implementing the procedures required to deliver product, maintaining critical path processes, ideate and delivering on new categories and business budgets.

**About the Role**
- Know the customer, market, trends, ranges, and price points to determine appropriate units to buy, replenish and carry
- Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure vision and design concepts are actionable and understood by the development team and external garment technicians
- Understanding how to calculate RRP, margins, and life cycles
- Determine product sales mix, stock levels, retail prices, life cycles, and margins
- Analyse inventory performance and productivity to monitor opportunity and risk
- Business Partner with other departments to determine samples required for E-commerce and Marketing departments
- Manage E-commerce Photo shoots with continual improvement key
- Forecast sales and stock levels to achieve sales plans and margin/profit targets
- Monitor RRP & market activity, through regular competitor analysis
- Manage budget, phasing, and forward forecasting in conjunction with Management Team
- Manage returns process, including team members
- Support the team with the (pre and post) production and logistics processes
- Liaise with manufacturers on final production engineering, cost optimization, and price negotiation
- Facilitate supply chain operations, keeping an effective communication flow with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure products are received (3PL) and launched in a timely manner
- Set and monitor the team’s KPIs

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**About You**
- At least 5 years of proven experience in relevant fields
- Experience in a fashion eCommerce environment is a must
- Demonstrated experience within a merchandise planning role within an e-Comm environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of planning and analysis
- Fashion degree preferable
- Strong understanding of Go to Markets, Production & Product
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Workspace
- Experience using Shopify and Lectra
- Strong financial literacy & financial management
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organisation and resource planning skills
- Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment
