**Your New Role**

As an EL1 Assistant Director Practice Leadership (Labour Hire), you will be responsible for using your expertise in knowledge translation, implementation science, and behavioural insights to support Agency projects related to workforce development and education in practice. You will also be involved in designing and leading the development of a practice leadership approach that can be used by the Agency to create a more consistent, evidence-informed workforce. This will include tools, resources and networks that can be used to support front line capability uplift. In addition, you will support the implementation of evidence-based approaches into policy and practice, build and maintain relationships across the Agency, maintain project records using research software or platforms, prepare and present internal reports and recommendations, take on management responsibilities as and when required, and promote the role of the Research and Evaluation Branch.

**What You'll Need To Succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

- A degree or higher qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., psychology, public health, education) or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of the disability sector in Australia or internationally.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present clear and concise reports and summaries for different audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret and synthesise complex information from various sources.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and deliver outcomes within tight deadlines.
- Experience in leading and managing a small team or project.
