**About the role**:
We are on the lookout for a passionate Compliance Officer to join our Enterprise Risk & Compliance team in Sydney. You will be responsible for the ongoing execution of the Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF) Acts, VIC Gas Safety Case and other energy and credit risk governance, control, and reporting mechanisms.

This is a permanent part-time role which is sure to hit the right note with someone looking for true flexibility. Offering 3 days per week combining office-based and working from home.

**Duties**:

- Implement mechanisms required to monitor and report on compliance with: Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF), Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL), VIC Gas Safety Case
- Monitor changes in the relevant legislation and make recommendations on required changes to the relevant policies to the Manager, Credit & Energy Market Compliance
- Perform, and complete, KYC and credit assessments
- Compile reports required for the Audit and Risk Committee, Energy Risk Management Committee, the Chief Risk Officer, and executives
- Implement appropriate training programs associated with the above in agreement with the Manager, Credit & Energy Market Compliance

**Skills and experience**:

- Degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar
- Experience implementing compliance and control frameworks
- Experience in managing compliance training programs Experience in any or all of the following: AFSL, AML/CTF, VIC Gas Safety Case
- Practice our ‘One Alinta’ value and work closely with other risk and compliance stakeholders in the business and in turn forming strong relationships
