**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic professional with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service to join our broad administration team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality customer service in the coordination of administrative functions across the hospital in various roles, primarily in front reception, switch and Pre-Admissions with additional coverage required in the wards. This will involve but not be limited to providing support and assistance to the administrative and clinical teams as well as patients and relatives, by coordinating the clerical requirements for patients from admission to discharge.
**Shifts will range from 3 up to 5 days per week, dependent on staffing needs at the time. Front reception shift times vary - morning shift start is 5.45am and evening shift finish is 8pm.**
**About You**
The successful applicant will be a positive, responsible, self-motivated person with excellent people and telephone skills. It is essential that you have a strong focus on detail, highly developed relationship skills, a great teamwork ethic, commitment to customer service and a ‘can do’ approach, and above all an unwavering commitment to client confidentiality.
**You will also bring**:
- Experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with Meditech (Desirable)
- Understanding of Health Funds and patient eligibility (desirable)
High attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently and within a team structure
- High level of competency in computer and Microsoft Office skills
**Remuneration**
On offer is base hourly rate starting from $ 31.49 **+ superannuation** based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

**Requirements**:
- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
