**In this role, you'll**:
Contribute to the development of service plan and timetable solutions for rural and regional customers.
This will include contributing to the delivery of a range of Transport Planning projects, including place-based planning within a specific geographical area, integrated network planning, as well as major and minor projects and initiatives, to support the achievement of NSW government’s vision and priorities.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Research, collate, consolidate, analyse, review and prepare draft documentation for the Transport Services Planning team.
- Support project planning, analysis and reporting to ensure project milestones are met and accurate progress updates, risks and issues are communicated.
- Work collaboratively with specialist teams within the matrix branch structure and across TfNSW divisions to ensure the best possible planning outcomes.

**About you**
The role will suit someone who has completed relevant qualifications and/or obtained some work experience in planning or operations, with a genuine interest in working in public transport planning. You are an energetic and determined individual who values learning and development, and are looking to take the next step in your professional career. You understand the rewards and challenges you can face in our workplace, yet you approach these situations with a level head and a positive attitude. We are looking for an organised and customer focused person who can demonstrate time management and prioritisation skills. You will be able to manage and action a high volume of requests and enjoy interacting with a wide range of team members with warmth and sensitivity.
The role is a Fixed Term Contract until end of February 2024 and the salary for this position is Transport Grade 6.
