- At Sikorsky Australia our people come first, and we are committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our team. We are seeking a passionate Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) Advisor to drive and facilitate ESH activities across the organisation.
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day ESH activities for Sikorsky Australia (specifically Nowra) including maintaining and monitoring WHS requirements and engaging with all areas of the business.
- Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders with respect to Environmental, Safety and Health matters.
- Actively partner across the business to keep our people safe, maintaining strict legislative and company compliance, and protecting our environment.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to promote consistency and excellence in compliance of EESH management system.
- Plan, coordinate and manage activities to ensure compliance with EESH policies and procedures in accordance with Company safety management systems and applicable legislation.
- Deliver EESH solutions in line with operational improvement initiatives and targets.
- Coordinate and conduct investigations into ESH related incidents, injuries, and hazards, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
- Coordinate, conduct, and ensure compliance with risk management activities across sites.
- Actively contribute to the preparation of safety and environmental impact statements, manuals and procedures.
- Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems and provide and implement effective approved solutions.

**About you**:

- We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic WHS professional who can hit the ground running. You will be a fast learner and have strong experience engaging with multiple stakeholders. Ideally you will have experience in the aviation or Defence industry working within the WHS sector.
- Essential Criteria:

- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience in Workplace Health and Safety
- Significant experience in a similar position with a focus on partnering with management to implement ESH management approaches and systems.
- Demonstrated experience of successfully achieving changes in workplace culture with improved awareness of safety and occupational health behaviours.
- Experience conducting ESH investigations of incidents and development of reports for corrective actions and improvements.
- Experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of risk assessment, safety auditing and compliance programs.
- Computer literacy with an ability to produce, analyse, and interpret complex reports and management information
- Current NV1 Australian Defence Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
