About the role

Joining our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Highest standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and operating theatres.
  • Ensure all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas
  • Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
  • Maintain communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved.

About you

Success in this role requires a strong work ethic, characterized by punctuality, integrity, respect for others, and a dedication to professional practice.

You will also demonstrate:

  • Prior experience in a cleaning role within a healthcare setting is desirable
  • Carpet cleaning experience highly desirable
  • Availability to work day / afternoon / evening shifts required
  • Excellent time management skills.

Ideally you will also bring;

  • Previous experience in a hospital or hospital environment
  • Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Ability to problem solve and maintain good working relations with others.

Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $26.40 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances
