The Junior Cybersecurity Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Yooralla’s systems and data. The Junior Cybersecurity Analyst will work closely with the Cybersecurity team and the Service desk team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Specific Role Responsibilities**
- Work to support the security team with incident investigations as needed.
- Escalate confirmed or high-priority incidents to the appropriate security team member for further investigation and response.
- Utilize security monitoring tools and technologies to identify and investigate phishing attempts, including working on to determine the severity and potential impact. Working in collaboration with the cybersecurity team to achieve this.
- Collaborate with the security team to understand vulnerabilities and progress with remediation, including providing reports in relation to these matters in line with continuous improvement.
- Ensuring you research and stay informed about the latest in threat trends and vulnerabilities, updating your knowledge and skills accordingly.
- Generate regular reports summarizing security events identified and actions taken.
- Assist with document review, and provide findings in a clear and concise manner, including event details, analysis, and recommended actions.

- Working in accordance with the Yooralla Code of Conduct and Employee Manual.

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Current National Police Record Check
- International Police Check (if required)
- Valid current photo identification (ID) proof in Australia

**Professional Experience**:

- Diploma in IT, qualification in Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Passionate about and looking to enter the world of Cybersecurity.
- Analytical skills and ability to think critically to troubleshoot security issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with others in the team.
- Keeping up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
