Experienced Corporate Receptionist needed in Southbank

**Your new company**
Our client is a well-known property group located in Southbank. They are known for building outstanding shopping centres, workplaces and homes.

They are currently looking for an experience Corporate Receptionist to join their team in Southbank.

This is a permanent full-time office based role.

**Your new role**
You will be responsible for the front-of-house experience. This will be achieved by providing excellent daily customer service to employees and external visitors attending their Melbourne office. You will play an integral role maintaining and creating a desirable workplace, kitchen, meeting room facilities as well as reception tasks. With the opportunity of providing wider internal tenancy support.
- Meet and greet clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner
- Build positive and sustained relationships with staff, be able to recognise Board members and regular visitors to provide personal service
- Log all clients/ visitors /contractors to the tenancy, issue access passes in line with security policy
- Contact and liaise with hosts and meeting coordinators to ensure visitors are met or provided access to required locations
- Liaise with meeting coordinators with catering requirements
- Conferencing services support.
- Manage the presentation of the reception area & meeting rooms to ensure a professional corporate image is always maintained
- Liaise with Office Manager with any maintenance issues and Facility Management with external building issues
- Ad hoc admin & reception tasks - booking couriers, answering phone calls, managing incoming mail & deliveries
- Provide support for events held within the building if required
- Assist with general queries

**What you'll need to succeed**
You must be well presented with a genuine desire to work with people, excellent verbal communication skills, and understand the importance of representing the company in a professional manner.

To ensure success you will have demonstrated experience in a similar Corporate Reception role along with:

- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Good at understanding and taking a practical approach to solving problems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, pressured environment
- A high level of autonomy and initiative
- Strong administration skills and digitally savvy
- Attention to detail
