ESM Resources is a Mobile Equipment Hire and Maintenance company dedicated to providing hire and maintenance solutions for the civil, construction and mining industries with branches located in Perth, Newman, Port Hedland and Karratha.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking to engage the services of an experienced Parts / Purchasing Co-ordinator to join our growing team in Perth.

This opportunity requires someone who can exemplify our brand and values.

The main duties of this role is to support the Parts Purchasing function for the **ESM Group** Workshop in Newman WA and provide parts support to the many sites as required by direction of the Operations Manager.

**Working as part of a friendly team, your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Facilitating the procurement process for all job materials and consumables as well as general purchases, starting from PO requisition to receipting of incoming goods.
- Liaise with workshop staff regarding parts and stock required
- Monitoring stock levels, back orders and Credit returns
- Planning for the purchase of parts and supplies in advance of job requirements.
- Monitoring and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures
- Reviewing, comparing and evaluating suppliers, prices and services as required
- Maintaining and updating supplier information and current pricing to ensure best pricing is sourced.
- Maintaining good supplier relations
- Booking and Packing freight deliveries to and from suppliers to both our Internal and external customers.
- Record all Delivery Dockets for received orders and Monitor Purchase Orders to ensure order compliance.
- Attend regular Workshop Meetings regarding job progress to receive and provide job specific order requirements and updates

**Highly desirable attributes include**:

- Purchasing experience within a Workshop or Machinery Repair environment (a must)
- Parts knowledge / experience with Caterpillar / Komatsu / Hitachi / Dynapac / Isuzu / Hino and Mack equipment (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills, friendly, approachable and always willing to assist both colleagues and visitors with a can do positive attitude (a must)
- Proactive with the ability to work without Supervision and take direction accurately (a must)
- Hard Working, reliable and proven work ethic (a must)
- Forklift licence (desired)

The role is a Perth based role in our Osborne Park Head Office, but there will be a requirement to visit ESM Workshops as and when required to assist in stock control and Customer support.
