The Laboratory Administrator will be responsible for co-ordinating the daily operations within the laboratory, this will include but not be limited to setting up the laboratory operations for a new suite of technical equipment to carry out spatial-analysis and maintaining the daily operations across two flag ship programs to ensure deep cytometric profiling of paediatric cancer patients using the latest technology.

**As our Laboratory administrator within our Personalised Medicine team your purpose will be to**:

- Coordinate and help manage the activities of clinically oriented research endeavours to achieve effective utilisation of resources.
- Coordinate sample shipping logistics for all program sites, partners, and tumour Bank.
- Ordering and stock management.
- Maintain service and compliance records.
- Organising meetings, taking notes and circulating notes
- Track and meticulously record all aspects of laboratory operations whilst ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Be involved in the design, establishment, and maintenance of quality systems to ensure appropriate quality assurance, quality and risk management.
- Ensure that all laboratory components of the program are tracked and can be reported on at short notice.
- Maintain raw data such that it is easily and readily accessible to all within the program.

**To succeed you will have**
- Administrative experience and a proven ability to work with others.
- Ability to independently manage competing goals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to guide and positively influence outcomes
- Highly skilled in communications and must be capable of always maintaining a professional demeanour across a broad range of stakeholders

**Desirable**
- Customer service experience
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with clinical research
