**Location - Various locations across the Western Sydney Nepean Blue Mountains District.**

**Salary - Clerk Grade 11/12 $134,411.00 per annum plus annual leave loading per year of service.**

**Your role**
Provide strategic leadership and management in all areas of the Community Service Centres (CSC) and be the senior representative of the Agency in the local community that your CSC serves
**What you’ll do**
As part of the Western Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains (WSNBM) District, you will be responsible for delivering the agency’s core functions and services to vulnerable children, young people and their families.
You will also provide leadership to facilitate the implementation of agreed change at the front line in a way that aligns operational activities with the corporate and strategic directions of the Agency
Provide leadership and direction as well as ensuring the professionalism and performance of professional and administrative staff within the CSC(s).
You'll work as part of a team of seven Managers Client Services reporting to a Director Community Services and you'll be working in an office environment in one of the Community Service Centres in WSNBM District. The District has nine Community Service Centres and a Child and Family District Unit providing child protection and out-of-home care services, and supporting non-government organisations who delivery out-of-home care services to children and young people.
**What we’re looking for**
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills to develop effective strategies and show decisiveness in dealing with emotionally charged situations, difficult and controversial issues
- You will have experience in monitoring and building a workplace culture that values fair and inclusive practices and diversity principles.
- Strong communication skills to promote and manage alliances within the organisation and across the public, private and community sectors
- The ability to initiate and develop partnerships with customers to define and evaluate service performance outcomes
- You will be able to identify resource needs and ensure goals are achieved within budget and deadlines
- Tertiary qualification in a social work, social/Behavioural Science, Welfare or related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Valid driver’s license
- A Working with Children clearance number prior to commencement in the role
- Willingness to travel
