**Roles & Responsibilities**:
The roles of **Locomotive Driver **responsibilities will include:
- Efficient operation of locomotives and train systems adhering to stringent safety protocols.
- Conducting comprehensive pre and post-operation checks, troubleshooting and effectively solving issues.
- Exhibiting adaptability to manage and excel in varied shifts, routes, and working conditions.
- Collaborative team work to maintain and exceed safety and performance benchmarks.
**About you**:
- Excellent communication for seamless teamwork and operational transparency.
- Demonstrated leadership and integrity, motivating and guiding the team towards excellence.
- The flexibility to accommodate irregular working hours in a 24/7 operational setting.
- Physical fitness to meet the role's demands, including manual handling and adapting to different weather conditions.
- Critical thinking abilities to make sound decisions swiftly during high-pressure situations.
**Qualifications**:
- A recognised Certificate IV in Train Driving or equivalent.
- Experience in VIC Safeworking practices. (this training is available through our Training Partner CERT Training)
- Pass all pre-employment medicals and background checks.
