Origin Verification helps companies learn more about where their products come from and how origin data can help identify and tackle issues like deforestation and modern slavery in supply chains. Scientific origin verification strengthens traceability systems and offers assurance in sourcing practices by verifying the origin claims of products via scientific analysis.
Our expanded service portfolio includes established and highly regarded analytical and forensic science services. These services have supported global law enforcement, government agencies, industry association groups, and corporate clients across various industry sectors for over fifteen years.
Source Certain is a growing company with offices in Australia, the UK, and the US. We're seeking motivated people who can share our passion for more transparent and traceable supply chains.
Our HQ and state-of-the-art laboratory facility is located in Western Australia.
**About the Role**
As part of our growing business, we are excited to announce an opportunity for a Sales Representative to drive new opportunities for our Origin Verification service.
**Role Responsibilities**
You will play an essential role within our Commercial team based in Perth, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer.
This role will require cold calling and building on current relationships both on the phone and face-to-face, as well as attending networking and industry events for brand representation. You will have the opportunity to thrive on critical thinking, providing innovative programs to deliver unparalleled solutions to our customers.
Your role will include:
**Qualification**: Talk to potential clients to understand their needs and challenges and determine if they are a good fit for our solutions.
**Appointment Setting**: Schedule meetings for the sales team, ensuring smooth communication and clear documentation of customer needs.
**Relationship Building**: Identify, build and maintain strong new relationships with target customers and industry stakeholders, addressing their challenges and identifying how Source Certain can help.
**Market Research**: conduct market analysis of required industry sectors and relevant competitors.
**Strategy**: create clear, focused plans and strategies for business development required to achieve both Company and industry sector annual revenue goals.
**CRM Management**: Utilise CRM to drive business development.
Commission/performance bonus included, as well as travel and associated expenses paid where appropriate.
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated commercial success in:
- Business Development and/or customer service experience
- Creating and building customer relationships
- Delivering solutions focused outcomes to customers
- Organisational ability
- Strong analytical skills
- An excellent networker who develops collaborative relationships
- Drives customer satisfaction
- Goal oriented, with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets
A tertiary qualification in a science-related field and/or business development experience within the life sciences field will be highly regarded.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
