**The Position**

**St John of God Ballarat Hospital** is one of Victoria's largest regional private hospitals and offers an extensive range of acute services for the community. While the hospital has existed since the early 19000s, the facility has continually been expanded to ensure modern services, and equipment are available to meet the needs of the community. A redevelopment is currently underway at the hospital which will add a new 10-bed critical/intensive care unit, central sterile services department (CSSD), four operating theatres, a 30-bed inpatient ward, four additional operating theatres, and a new cath lab.

We are currently have multiple casual positons open for 2nd year Nursing attendants working within our busy ballarat hospital. Within this role you will participate as a valued team member promoting and contributing to a supportive team environment.

These positions will be offer on a casual basis.

- Currently studying second or third year Nursing at a tertiary level or similar.
- Ability to work as a team member, and also independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to Caregivers, patients, families and visitors.
- Well-developed planning and organisational skills.
- Previous experience in a similar position. (Desirable)
