**The Opportunity**:
As the Development Manager you will be responsible for managing the fundraising activities of the organisation with a key focus on corporate partnerships, PAF’s, individual giving, bequests and fundraising campaigns.

You will ensure The Mary Potter Foundation (TMPF) can meet the current and future needs of people affected by life limiting illnesses.

You key responsibilities will include:

- Generation of revenue through specific fundraising initiatives
- Identification and implementation of new fundraising initiatives
- Building and maintaining positive relationships to deliver fundraising objectives
- Identifying opportunities to grow donors through areas of direct responsibility
- Working with the Executive Director and the Fundraising & Events coordinator to develop strategies to engage family members who have experienced the care
- Manage relationships and deliver engagement to our exiting Private Ancillary Funds supporters
- Manage offline and online collateral and marketing for our annual appeals program
- Develop and implement a strategy to grow community fundraising participation
- Manage the reporting and acquittal process for grants

This is full-time position; however part-time hours may be considered.

**About You**:
You have a creative and warm personality, with a passion for life-long learning and someone who has a genuine care for others and the ability to connect and show empathy.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Formal qualifications in marketing, fundraising or related field or at least 5 years’ experience in fundraising and/or a related field
- Practical experience in generating revenue from a range of sources
- Demonstrated success in event management in areas such as sponsorship and campaign management
- Demonstrated success in corporate fundraising
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including a warm and kind communication style
- Hardworking and motivated to succeed
- A current driver’s licence
- Clear police check (every 2 years)
- Vaccination status meets Calvary SA requirements
