Job Description Summary:
Join Havas Red's Social team on a journey to success as a Social Account Executive.
A key step in your career requiring both client handling and content skills, and is a vital support role for your clients and team.
Your role is focused upon day to day delivery alongside the Account Manager and Account Director. Your team will help you to manage your tasks and priorities, although we do expect you to grow into this role and become a key member of the team. You need to be conducting business in an effective manner with attention to detail and accuracy in all communication either internal or external.
You’re in touch with industry trends and consume a wide variety of social media looking for emerging trends and best practices, educating not only your own team but also the wider team

The nature of the business requires a high level of flexibility, common sense and versatility. While the specific content of your role is clearly defined, the nature of the demands placed on us and the creativity of our campaigns means that the role will evolve over time and needs a ‘can do’ approach to picking projects up and making them happen.

Team Contribution
- Ensure that with each task you have agreed a course of action to make sure that all goals are achieved effectively
- Strong attention to detail, focus and accuracy skills
- Ability to meet deadlines need to be met and where you encounter problems, you need to address these early and in time for solutions to be found
- Social channel community management including responding back to comments, posting content, creating content with the creative team and overall management of client channels
- Weekly coverage reports
- Research and insight development on pitches
- Insight development
- Assisting in planning and executing blogger outreach
- Writing blog posts for client
- Carrying out conversation audits
- Help develop your Interns
Creative Contribution
- Build up your understanding of social media and trending content creation
- Research and share the trends that are changing within the industry
- Keep abreast with events, creative campaigns and news from the wider scene
- Share your knowledge with those around you and also use the expertise available to broaden your own development
- Assist Creative Team with Creative Strategy and Tactics, Copy, Art Direction
- Assist Production team for content deliverables across, Design Projects, Digital Projects
Relationship Management
- Building good relationships with your clients
- Develop strong relationships across the business and with our clients
Account Management
- Proactively assist Account Manager in managing your client accounts
- Exhibit clear understanding of projects
- Work with your Account Manager to manage client expectations
- Go above and beyond the call of duty
- Take responsibility for all the tasks within your remit, flagging any issues that arise
- Organise your time to ensure accurate delivery of all your tasks
Commercial Capability
- Follow and support the standard financial processes
- Ensure timesheets are accurate and on time
- Take an interest in understanding fees, budget management, invoicing, expenses and profitability
- Support Account Manager to make sure that we have purchase orders in place and work is invoiced on time
Key Skills / Experience
- Strong academic performance, ideally at a tertiary level.
- Min 1 year client service experience, ideally in social
- Fluency in wide range of social platforms and analytics tools.
- Experience building strong and trusted client relationships.
- Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
