Governance and Information Management Officer
**Your new company**
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Governance and Information Management Officer to join a dynamic local Government Council.
**Your new role**
The ideal applicant for this position will take pride in their attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
**Responsibilities**:
- You'll be responsible for running workflows.
- This role will see you maintaining security and confidentiality of information
- You'll be managing incoming and outgoing mail
- You'll be using the new Share Point system
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience managing archiving requirements and ability to support the storage and retrieval of physical and electronic records in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Experience archiving records and ensuring records are descriptive to enable easy identification and retrieval.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in records management principles and well-developed records management knowledge and skills, including industry exposure to, and experience, in a digitised environment.
