About the role
EPA offers an exciting opportunity to the right person as Information Management Officer.

As Information Management Officer, you work with the Senior Information Management Officer and colleagues in the IT Division to: Roll out EPA's Information Management Platform.

Embed good information and records management practice across the organisation.

Engage with key stakeholders to deliver compliant and efficient systems and procedures that result in information being valued, reliable and reusable.

Provide written and verbal support to end users.
Duties

  • Working as directed by the Senior Information Management Officer, plan and deliver information management services aligned to EPA's strategic priorities.
  • Contribute to development and delivery of the Information Management Platform (based on SharePoint with Records365).
  • Develop constructive stakeholder relationships across EPA, including close cooperation with Information Security and Privacy.
  • Develop comprehensive end user support, including online guidance material, inperson presentations and individual or group discussions
  • Contribute to development of a positive and high performing team culture; work with colleagues to identify and implement improved procedures and practices.
Skills and experience

  • A relevant tertiary degree in information technology, information management or a related discipline is desirable.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint at or near administrator level is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, including excellent verbal and written communication
  • Robust time and selfmanagement skills.
