Front Office Coordinator

Dickson Street Dental is a friendly family clinic which is looking for a Front Desk Coordinator with a strong passion for patient care. We are looking for an individual with a great work-ethic who would like to thrive in a vibrant and supportive dental team in a professional environment. The practice has recently been fully renovated and equipped with the latest technology.
We are seeking a Front Desk Coordinator looking to grow with the business for the long term. If this role sounds like it would be a good fit, we would love to hear from you with your most recent resume and a cover letter explaining why you believe you would be the best fit.
**Your role will include**:
- Managing the front office to ensure all duties and activities (calls, mail, orders, referrals etc.) are met.
- Supporting administrative duties.
- Ensuring that our culture is reflected across our various touchpoints; from the look and feel of the office space through to the employee and patient experience.
- Appointment book oversight, answering calls, scheduling appointments.
- Communication with the team - dentists/OHTs/nurses.
- Self-motivated and a real people's person
- Ability to meet deadlines and have a solution-focus
- Be trustworthy and reliable
- Caring and personal to patients
- Support the clinicians positively
- Exceptional communication skills
**Key skills and profile**:
- You are a positive and energetic self-starter with a positive working attitude.
- Having previous experience in a similar role (experience in dental preferred), where you demonstrated commitment to delivering a high standard of office administration and customer service.
- Your warm friendly demeanour thrives in a team environment
- As a true professional, have strong interpersonal and communication abilities, excellent time management and organization skills
- You are tech savvy and proficient in systems
- Dental For Windows software experience advantageous
- You take pride in your appearance and your phone manner and negotiation skills are second to none.
- You are a true people’s person that enjoys helping those around them and consider yourself a problem-solver who is punctual and reliable.
