We have a full time permanent position for a HR Advisor based in your local State HQ, with the flexibility to work from home 3 days a week.

Reporting to the HR Business Partner you will be an integral member of the Salvos Stores team providing advice and support to HR Business Partners nationally.

As HR Advisor you will:

- Actively provide operational Human Resources support services to the HR team, leaders and employees nationally
- Provide Human Resources (HR), Workplace Relations (WR) and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) advice to employees in line with statutory requirements
- Drive and maintain national Integrity Checks to ensure all Salvos Stores employees are compliant
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding
- Provide advice on HR systems and business as usual processes, contract management, updating changes in HR Systems, referencing/distributing HR help guides, responding to queries, ad-hoc project work and other duties as required
- Develop and maintain relationships with managers and employees (where appropriate) to enable the effective provision of HR support
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including the Payroll team to ensure employee details are up-to-date and that they are paid correctly and on time
- Perform HR administrative duties

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will have:

- 3+ years experience in a HR support, business administration role or similar, preferable
- Formal qualification in Human Resources, Business or equivalent
- Sound understanding of employee relations
- A working knowledge of Workday or other HRIS
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills and ability to foster long lasting relationships
