**Company Overview**:
Our client is a builder/developer with a presence in the Sydney and Brisbane markets. Specialists in the development and construction of residential apartments, striving to deliver exceptional quality and value to their customers. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team and oversee their projects in Sydney.

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of our construction projects in Sydney. You will work closely with our development team, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of projects while adhering to quality and safety standards. Your role will involve planning, organizing, and coordinating all construction activities, managing budgets, monitoring progress, and resolving any issues that may arise during the construction phase. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and permits.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
- Oversee and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor construction progress, identify and address any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to construction standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and participate in project meetings.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager, preferably with residential and commercial projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve project goals.
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address construction challenges effectively.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites within the Sydney area.
