**About the Role**:
Join our Volunteer Sustainability team today and help us make a difference in the community. As the Volunteer Programs Coordinator you will play a crucial role in designing and developing programs that encourage, maintain, and strengthen the capacity of volunteers, with particular focus on the recruitment and retention of volunteers. With your help, we can enhance the role of volunteers within the delivery of CFA services and make a positive impact in the community.

The CFA team will develop and implement key initiatives and major events that support brigade sustainability and growth in volunteerism. Our efforts significantly contribute to the sustainability of a strong and vibrant CFA volunteer membership. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about exploring and analysing the latest trends in volunteerism.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing models and frameworks that reflect contemporary practice, build capacity and capability, and recognise the valuable contribution of CFA volunteers.

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualifications in community development, social sciences, humanities or other relevant disciplines.
- Extensive experience and expertise in the field of volunteerism with a strong understanding of the needs and impacts affecting the sustainability of brigades.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex diverse programs preferably within a community development area, and an understanding of program management methodologies. Demonstrated research skills and proficiency in preparing and presenting complex written documents.
- Proven ability to negotiate and deliver agreed outcomes.
- Experience in providing advice at a senior level, taking account of organisation w ide strategic impacts, high risks and to plan and develop mitigation strategies and solutions.
- Proven leadership skills and significant experience developing, managing and influencing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in a large and complex organisation.
