The position available is:
- Based in **Kogarah**:
- **Closed-term** **Part-time until 30 June 2025 **(45.6hours per fortnight)
- Working between **Monday and Friday**:
- **Level 3 (Health Professionals Award) + Super + Salary Packaging**
**About the Opportunity**:
As a Dietitian with Flourish Australia, you will be supporting the integration of lifestyle interventions within a community setting specialising in complex mental health supports. The Dietitian will work closely with the local Manager as part of the integrated support team to help ensure a comprehensive approach to support people to self-manage their diet and nutrition.
On a day to day basis, you will:
- Effectively and efficiently support people by liaising with other members of the interdisciplinary team, providing advice about nutritional management
- Provide advanced person-led care and clinical advice to people accessing the service and their families/carers
- Identify, initiate and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and individual outcomes
- Communicate and work collaboratively with other health professionals to provide a seamless continuum of care and support that meets the needs of the person accessing the service
- accurately and promptly document all clinical interactions, interventions and supports, maintaining compliance with legal and professional standards

**Selection Criteria**:
**_ Essential:_**
- Possess a Bachelor or Post Graduate Degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by Flourish Australia.
- Demonstrated high level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
- Relevant clinical experience including demonstrated advanced practice skills and support of people with complex environments and needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team to manage complex situations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead planning and evaluation of team activities.
- Demonstrated ability to meet the clinical supervision needs of students and/or less experienced staff.
- Maintain a current Australian Drivers’ Licence
- Desirable:_
- A personal lived experience of a mental health issue.
- Understanding of public sector and community-based service systems relevant to people with a lived experience of a mental health issue.
