Working as part of the Asset Management Team to provide critical professional centralised service to all Perenti Contract Mining projects and the provision of asset demand solutions and support, related to externally hired asset acquisitions as well as, internal and intracompany asset transfers. Key purpose is the administration of plant and equipment supply ensuring economical supply of compliant assets to meet project needs.

**About the Role**

Ensuring strict compliance with the Perenti Contract Mining asset acquisition and disposal processes and procedures (and their associated deliverables); directing the economical and professional vendor and requestor relationships. Oversee the administration of movement of assets, including in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and direct the asset acquisition process deliverable records including the Asset Master data base including CAPEX acquisition records.

**Key accountabilities & responsibilities**:

- Accountable for sourcing externally hired assets when viable.
- Accountable for the appropriate and successful Perenti Contract Mining business relationships with vendors.
- Accountable for the appropriate and successful Perenti Contract Mining business relationships with requestors.
- Accountable for prompt asset request progress communication.
- Responsible for liaison with the Perenti Logistics and Transport Department.
- Responsible for monitoring the compliant use of asset acquisition procedure and deliverables.
- Accountable for the appropriate processing of:

- All asset on and off hire movements.
- Monitor and tracking of asset transfers.
- Including Capital Expenditure, establishing new and the maintenance thereof asset master files data base in SharePoint directory and with the CMMS.
- All record keeping of all acquisition and compliance documentation in the asset master directory.
- Accurate data input and integrity.
- Accountable for monthly report production where required.
- Accountable to ensure assets delivered to Perenti Contract Mining projects are aligned to approved machine specifications.
- Accountable for any other reasonable instructions from direct manager.

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**
- Minimum 5 years’ asset maintenance and management in a mining environment.
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role including provision of administrative support.
- Experience and ability to manage medium sized projects and understand logístical challenges.
- Experience and ability to perform clerk and administrative duties.
