The role of Container Control / R&D Clerk position is to be responsible for efficient park throughput including accurate and timely data entry, operational liaison with drivers and yard workers, paperwork processing and any other duties required to support of the daily activities of the e-Depot operations. The Container Control / R&D Clerk is also responsible for ensuring 100% service to our importer, exporter, carrier and shipping line customers. All processes must be completed in accordance with the agreed service standards and operational and safety requirements of the business.
- Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm
- West Melbourne location - ( Close to costco )
- $32.01 per hour

**RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Comply with all applicable legislation, regulations, Australian Standards and other statutory or regulatory guidelines at local, state and federal levels, including customer and company policies and procedures.
- Support and/or participate in, Site Safety Meetings, tool box meetings, operational meetings etc., as directed by the the e-Depot Manager.
- Support hazard and safety incident communication protocols, including reporting and participation in incident investigation, corrective action and follow-up.
- Using Maximus (Containerchain,) validate the import pre booking details as supplied by the carrier and ensure that all data and paperwork is correct.

- Monitor the _Transport Pending Arrival Screen_ to ensure carriers that have booked slots are not arriving outside of their window booking as well as to ensure stock is available.
- Collect data on a daily basis regarding yard stock levels in order to work with and communicate effectively with ACFS Transport.
- Regularly liaise with truck and forklift drivers, yard personnel, office staff, internal and external customers in order to ensure efficient co-ordination of the yard and traffic flow.
- Ensure all data for container movements is properly and accurately recorded and maintained.
- Errors must be immediately rectified with appropriate corrective action taken including immediate notification to the e-Depot Manager.
- Provide assistance to other Team members with work requirements where necessary.
- Undertake cross-training in different activities that support the business:

- From time to time the Container Control / R&D Clerk may be asked to fill in for other roles which they are trained and qualified for.
- Work with others as part of an overall team environment.
- Ensure that appropriate personal protective equipment is used where required. Nobody is allowed to enter the site without having the correct PPE.
- Enforce site safety requirements with all transport operators, customers and workers coming onto the ACFS e-Depot Site.
- For every shift, present fit for work and in workable condition.
- Not to be effected by drugs or alcohol.
- 100% compliance to all ACFS Drug and Alcohol testing, policies and procedures.
- Notify the Site Manager of any temporary or ongoing health conditions, or change in health status which is likely to affect your ability to perform regular duties safely and/or efficiently.
- Comply with any reasonable directions given by the e-Depot Manager regarding work requirements.
