Senior Mental Health Consultant - Injury Management

The Bank is committed to the promotion of the wellbeing of all staff and seeks to provide employees with a supportive culture as well as the vital resources to support a mentally healthy workplace.

You will support the Bank’s Safety and Wellbeing Strategic Plan through crafting and implementing programs which promote a psychologically safe and healthy workplace, as well as effective early prevention, referral pathways and claims management. You will have the opportunity to expand on the work done so far to create a flourishing workplace for employees at the Bank.

Your background- Developed, implemented, and monitored strategy, policies, and practices that contribute to and support a psychologically healthy workplace.- Developed, implemented, and managed preventative and early intervention mental health strategies to improve workplace health and wellbeing outcomes.- Experience providing a strategic approach to managing workers’ compensation in a large organisation including experience providing early intervention support.- Proactively support leaders in the management of safety, rehabilitation and return to work of employees.- Provided support, advice, and training to managers and supervisors to assist in the provision of effective employee management practices.- Provided clinical advice and consultation to promote effective and responsive rehabilitation of injured and/or ill employees.- Experience in mental health consultancy, preferably within a financial services context.- Experience in the development and implementation of psychological health and safety programs to increase organisational capability in identifying mental health issues in the workplace.- Qualifications in psychology, social work, or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
